Teaching Background

  • Alaina has had extensive pedagogy training in both traditional and Suzuki method harp instruction and believes in a well-rounded, enjoyable approach to music learning and performance.

  • Alaina has worked with students ages 5-85 and believes that music can be a blessing, a service, and a completely fulfilling experience for anyone from any background at any age.

  • Alaina has extensive pedagogical experience:

    • teaching dozens of students

    • directing monthly harp classes and summer harp camps and ensembles

    • teaching K-12 music classes

    • designing harp curricula

    • teaching harp and general music courses at the collegiate level
